A total of 60-100 different words for the 10 clues and congratulations message works well. Each unique word will be converted into a unique hieroglyph. Avoid using words that will lead directly to a location without reading the rest of the clue. Example: if you write: 'Under the bicycle seat', the kids might check the bike as soon as they find and translate the 'bicycle' hieroglyph.
Characters that are allowed: A-Z, 0-9, and: $ # ! . , ' @ & * ( ) + - / %
Use up to a total of 15 words (including punctation) for each clue. Try to use 8 or more words for many of your clues. Using 12 or more words for most of your clues, results in a more complex game (ages 10+).
